The Xenoarcheologist's role is to venture out into the wilds of space and dig up trinkets, do-dads and potentially lethal alien artifacts.

Main tasks: Suit up and go digging!
Main problems: Some alien artifacts you dig up may kill you, or the rest of the crew. Be very careful!
Bare minimum requirements: A hankering for history.

Traitoring

It may take you a while, but certain anomalies may prove an interesting hook for traitorous activities. Don't go hauling dangerous hunks of glowing rock onto the main station if you're not a traitor though, that is generally frowned upon/jobbannable.
